¼ cup chopped green onions
¼ cup finely chopped green peppers

"This soup is excellent when you have a cold!  When my son made it, I was surprised he actually ate it (he’s quite picky), but he really liked it…maybe because he made it from start to finish.  The nice feature about our mild sauce, for me, is that it’s hot but the heat doesn’t overpower my taste buds. I like spicy foods, but I also like to taste the actual ingredients I’ve put in my recipe!" -Julie

Hot Joey's Giardiniera Relish Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients:
1 (16 oz)(full jar) Hot Joey's Hot/Mild Giardiniera Relish
2 (8 oz) cream cheese

Directions:

Take 2 8oz blocks of cream cheese and bring to room temperature about 30 minutes so it's soft.  Next, use 1 full 16oz jar of Hot/Mild Giardiniera Relish, or if you like olives use the Hot/Mild Muffuletta. Dump the jar in a strainer to get all the oil out, approximately 30 minutes. Mix with the cream cheese and voila! Serve with crackers, chips, or whatever you like best!
**If you'd like to change it up, use our Hot Joey's Hot or Mild Giardiniera  to create a nice creamy spread. If you like to make a smaller batch of the giardiniera cream cheese mix cut the servings in half.
